It was because I can't stay somewhere where I feel like I'm being forced into something that I'm not, or I feel like I'm not wanted by my own principal…I'm not a bad student. Wallis says he was a good student, and although it seemed the principal was doing everything possible to keep him at LHN, he was baffled by the fact that his sexual orientation had even become an issue. I hope that my story will help make a difference in someone else's life. According to the video, Wallis chose not to reveal the name of the educational institution that threatened to expel him because specific faculty members at the school support him.
